Layering

My key to staying warm is layering. When in need I'm all about pilling on as many items as possible anything to stay warm. Over the years I've figured that there is an art to layering less hobo, more boho maybe. I think the key is to make sure the proportions are right. Take this outfit for example, both the top and the cardigan are longer making the outfit cohesive.
My scarf blanket hybrid was an emergency buy before christmas from Accessorize. I forgot mine at home and it was an absolutely freezing day, so to save myself from phenomena (slight over exaggeration I know) I headed into Accessorize for an emergency pit stop.

I was so excited to debut my Whistles Hat, this was the first time I'd ever worn it. I couldn't have thought of a better outfit to team it with. This HM Cardigan is perfect for the chilly weather and acts as a replacement for a coat on those occasions when I don't feel the need for that extra heavy layer.
Think this top is my favourite part of the outfit they asymmetrical hem is pretty cool but the best bit is in the back, the secret sheer detail is sexy without being over the top.
