How To - DIY Asymmetrical Skirt

This post has been a long time coming, too long I know! My DIY blog has been, well absent of DIY's lately. I mentioned it before but since starting my new job three months ago things have been super busy. Summer is our peak season and being a newbie I was slightly (that's an under statement) unprepared for how intense it would be. Also recently my dear grand-pa passed away, which has been the saddest thing I've ever had to go through. Any one who has lost a loved one will know where I'm coming from. With all that going on my little old blog has taken a back seat. Things are finally starting to settle down on the work front and having been on a bit of a blogging/DIY hiatus I've been getting inspired and working on several projects which I'm really excited to share with you all.

The first project is this asymmetrical skirt how to DIY. I have been really obsessed with stripes and this stripe fabric in particular. I bought it a year ago and made a T-shirt out of it which has become a wardrobe staple for me. I love how soft and easy the fabric is against my skin, it also washed up beautifully! Quite literally as I write this post I'm planning how I'm going to style this skirt, I can not wait to share it with you.

This is a pretty easy DIY, but you will need a sewing machine for it, over to the video for instructions.
