Beauty experts have been raving about Argan Oil, the Moroccan Oil version in particular for ages. Personally I've been using Moroccan Argan Oil in my hair for months now and can say hand on heart that I love it. It leaves my hair silky and smooth without being overly greasy. I have written a review on it which can read here. I loved it so much I wanted to give a few other items from the range a try.

In recent months I've become interested in introducing products that are more natural into my hair care regime. I'm slightly ashamed to admit it, but I was (and kind of still am) the type of person to buy products without actually reading the labels and checking the ingredient. However having watched several YouTube videos and read multiple blog posts on the ingredients in hair products I began to think again. I'm only beginning to take baby steps on this journey, which lead me to the Moroccan Oil range.

I decided to invest (and I say invest as this stuff really isn't cheap) in the shampoo conditioner and hair mask as I was looking for something that was Sulfate and Paraben free. I've been wearing my hair in extensions and wanted a product that would not strip my hair and the extensions leaving them dry and brittle. I had also experienced some minor breakage, with my own hair, so thought a good nourishing hair mask would be a worth while investment.

As their part of the same range these products all have that warm slightly nutty Argan fragrance that I love. They all have a nice thick texture which I like, as I feel my hair is getting lots of moisture and nourishment. I noticed the difference straight away with the shampoo, usual drug store or high street shampoos leave my hair feeling very squeaky clean, which in my case can lead to breakage. However with the Moroccan Moisture Repair shampoo my hair felt clean minus the squeaky dryness, I believe this was down to the lack of Sulfates and Paraben's. The conditioner I enjoyed using, as it did everything you would expect - moisture and condition. I found it was particularly good at helping to de-tangle any pesky knots. I tend to go for leave in conditioners as they give my hair that added kick of moisture it desperately needs after shampooing. I was a little dubious that the Conditioner would not work as well, I'm pleased to say my concerns were unfounded. It's a great wash out conditioner and my hair felt as moisturised, as when I use my regular leave in conditioner. So I've saved the best until last lets talk about the Hair Mask, it was this baby that I was most excited to try out. I adore a good hair mask, for me they should leave my hair feeling and looking nourished, healthy, moisturised but not overly greasy. This one ticked all the boxes. It was so simple to use, just apply to wet hair, leave in for 7-10 min (I used a wide tooth comb to comb it through my hair, this helped to evenly distribute the product). Then wash out. Easy peasy 1,2,3!

Hair washing for me can be a bit of a chore and can take hours, yes your heard me I said hours. That's including the drying stage as I'm desperately trying to add moisture back into my hair. But with these three products I didn't have that problem I was done and dusted in around 45 min, which in my book is an accomplishment.

Sorry this post was so long, I genuinely enjoyed using Moroccan Moisture Repair shampoo, conditioner and mask, and felt like I had to share it with you. I hope I haven't rambled on too much and you've managed to find my review useful.

I'm looking for other natural hair care products to try, have you guys got any recommendations? Let me know in the comment section.
