St Ives Elements Olive Scrub

I bought this product on a bit of a whim. I was in Superdrug doing my usual toiletries shop, when I came across the Olive Oil Scrub. I'm a fan of the Apricot face scrub but lately I've found it makes my skin a bit dry.

I've been using the Olive Oil scrub for a few days and to be honest I'm undecided about it. I'm not too keen on strong scented face products, I prefer a more subtle fragrance, so the gentle olive oil scent was perfect. Once applied it feels really luxurious and moisturising, it reminded me of a facial I had on honeymoon - so I had high hopes. Once I rinsed it off with warm water I noticed that none of the moisture had remained, my face felt quite dry - so no difference to the apricot face scrub then.

I do like the Olive Oil Scrub but I'm disappointed that the moisture didn't hold. That said my skin did feel really soft and looked a bit brighter. The husband even said I smelt nice after using it!

I'm going to keep with it to see how things go but, but I'm still on the look out for a good exfoliator so, if you have any recommendations let me know.

RRP £5.09 from Superdrug

  1. Well its a result if the hubby says you smell nice lol. I like the sound of it but think I would prefer it ad a body scrub?

    1. I know right always a plus if the hubby likes it. I'm not even convinced if it would work as a body scrub to be honest - my skin was really quite dry. Maybe I just have weird skin! BTW thanks for being the first person to comment on my newbie blog. x
